Security system manufacturer, Resideo, introduces the VISTA H Series, a new platform for their First Alert line of products.
The tech giant Resideo has announced the launch of its new security system, the First Alert VISTA H Series. This full-service, scalable security system is designed for residential and light-commercial security installations, offering a modern hybrid solution for seamless wired and wireless upgrades.
Built on the dependability of Resideo's existing VISTA Platform, the VISTA H Series stands out as a hybrid security panel that supports both hardwired and wireless sensors. This flexibility in installation and expansion provides users with a next-generation system offering enhanced user experience, advanced connectivity options like cellular LTE, and integration with smart home platforms and automation.
The VISTA H Series includes a range of components, such as the VISTA 20P, a hardwired control panel equipped with a cellular AT&T LTE communicator for reliable and fast alarm signal transmission. The comprehensive kit includes a control panel, battery backup, power transformer, keypad, and cellular communicator components. The system is suitable for various property types, including homes, small businesses, apartments, retail spaces, and warehouses.
To cater to the needs of its users, the VISTA H Series requires a subscription to cloud services like Total Connect 2.0 for remote monitoring and alerts. It supports real-time notifications, automatic arming/disarming, and the ability to integrate with existing wired sensors when used with additional interface kits.
The VISTA H Series is compatible with existing sensors and peripherals, making installations easier for professionals. It is also compatible with Resideo's ProSeries Platform components, including PRO6 Sensors, and the First Alert indoor and outdoor cameras.
The first product released in the VISTA H Series is the First Alert® H3 Security Panel, available later this month. Resideo will add more options and features to the VISTA H Series in the coming months.
The VISTA H Series will be available in the U.S. and Canada through ADI Distribution, a Resideo company. The new system is unveiled at the CONNECT 2024 Customer Event.
