Space Marine edition of Warhammer 40,000 receives long-awaited remastered update.

Heck yeah,Space Marines are back and better than ever!

A year after its sequel graced our screens, the iconic Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is making a comeback to the modern gaming world. Developed by SneakyBox, the updated version, dubbed the "Master Crafted Edition," promises a rejuvenated experience that blends yesterday's charm with contemporary flair. As Vaidas Mikelskas, the producer, put it, "We're not just updating the graphics or overhauling the UI; we're forging a dialogue between past and present, preserving the essence of the original while breathed fresh life into it for a new generation of players."

The revamped Space Marine boasts an array of visual updates, a sleek, modern UI, and a refined control scheme. But wait, there's more! The Orks received a visual upgrade to align with their updated appearance in the franchise's lore. Not to mention, over 100 new voice lines add an extra layer of authenticity to the game.

Originally created by Relic Entertainment, the first Space Marine was released in 2011 to a warm welcome. Despite the planned sequels hitting a roadblock when the game's publisher, THQ, folded, the rights landed in the hands of Sega. They re-released the game on PC back in 2021, setting the stage for its grand return. Fast forward to 2024, Saber Interactive snagged the reins for the sequel, delighting gamers with its release and paving the way for a follow-up.

As of now, the rights for the first Warhammer 40K: Space Marine remain with Sega, who hasn't spoken up about a PlayStation 5 version of the Master Crafted Edition. But if you can't wait, hop on your PC or Xbox Series X|S or grab it via Xbox Game Pass. Mark your calendars—it drops on June 10.
