Spying Game with the HIKMicro Stellar 3.0 Thermal Sighting Scope for Firearms

In the highlands of the northern Italian Lazio region, a group of hunters embarked on a night-time wild boar hunt, equipped with HIKMicro's flagship thermal imaging riflescope, the Stellar 3.0 SX60L.

Accompanying the hunters was Luca Basilischi, Marketing Director of HIKMicro Italy. The Stellar 3.0 SX60L proved to be an invaluable asset, offering unparalleled sharpness and detail that enabled the hunters to observe animals moving at twilight without disturbing them or being seen.

The Stellar 3.0 SX60L boasts an impressive detection range of up to 3,100 meters and reliable target identification at 800 meters. Its highly efficient objective lens with an F1.0 aperture ensures clear and bright images, even in low light conditions.

The hunters, including Stefano Castellani, a Roman hunter known for his passion for hunting and presence as a hunting influencer, set up a tripod to support their rifle and meticulously evaluated wind direction, cover, and vegetation before taking position.

The Stellar 3.0 SX60L offers excellent runtime, allowing for around 9 hours of continuous use. It also features a native magnification of 2.5x and digital zoom up to an impressive 28.4x. The scope's precision is exceptional, with adjustments of 2 cm per click at 100 meters.

The hunt began when a wild boar was spotted approximately 180 meters away, and a recording was made as the boar approached. The boar eventually resumed walking and provided a broadside view, coming within 70 meters of the hunters' position.

Fabio, one of the hunters, took aim with a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7x64mm Brenneke, with the Stellar 3.0 riflescope mounted and zeroed in the SX60 variant. The shot taken by Fabio was immediate and lethal, resulting in the wild boar collapsing on the spot.

The wild boar that was hunted was a male, approximately three years old, weighing at least 90 kg. The Stellar 3.0 SX60L includes built-in audio and video recording, allowing the hunters to document their successful hunt.

During the hunt, the hunters also observed other wildlife, including foxes, using the Stellar 3.0 riflescope and HIKMicro's Habrok Pros and 4k binoculars. The Stellar 3.0 SX60L also features a built-in rangefinder with a maximum range of 1,000 meters and an internal ballistic calculator, proving to be a versatile tool for various hunting scenarios.

The Stellar 3.0 SX60L proved to be an indispensable tool in this wild boar hunt, demonstrating its capabilities in both detection and precision. The hunters' success serves as a testament to the effectiveness of this cutting-edge thermal riflescope.
