Electrifying the Jeep Compass: A Game-Changer in the Electric Car Market

Make way for the newest addition to Jeep's electric vehicle lineup – the third generation of the Compass, now equipped with pure electric powertrains! This compact SUV is set to make waves, especially in Europe, where it will first hit the market.

Redefining the Electrified Compact SUV

First up on the revamped Compass is its attractive design, featuring Jeep's signature brand features such as the seven-slotted grille, trapezoidal wheel arches, and functional skid plates. Under the hood, three powertrain options are available – a 48-volt mild hybrid setup, a plug-in hybrid, and a trio of electric versions.

Three Amps of Electric Power

The electric versions of the Compass catapult the brand into the future with powerful electric motors and impressive range. The entry-level model boasts 157 kW/213 PS on the front axle, while the middle option comes with 170 kW/231 PS. Topping the electric mix is the all-wheel-drive version, boasting a jaw-dropping 276 kW/375 PS thanks to an additional rear motor.

Battery capacities range between 74 kWh and 96 kWh, providing up to 650 kilometers (WLTP) on the highest trim level. Charging is a breeze, with a DC fast-charging rate of up to 160 kW, capable of charging the battery from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes.

Room to Roam

A more spacious interior greets passengers with 5.5 cm more legroom in the rear and a boot volume increased by 45 liters to 550 liters. An added 34-liter front-passenger storage compartment captures your essentials, compared to the predecessor's 14 liters.

Streamlined and Adaptable

Presenting a modified exterior and improved aerodynamics, the new Compass boasts active louvers in the grille, strategically placed air guides on the wheels, sharp rear edges, and a completely flat underbody, reducing the drag coefficient (cW value) by 10% to under 0.3. Adaptive dampers and a newly developed stabilizer bar create a balance of comfort and precise handling.

Technology at Your Fingertips

Dominating the cockpit is a new infotainment system, featuring a 10.25-inch instrument display and a central 16-inch touchscreen. Over-the-air updates will ensure you're always running the latest software versions without spending a dime on workshop visits. Furthermore, factory-installed driver-assistance systems enable Level 2 semi-autonomous driving, and a host of additional features including a head-up display, matrix LED headlights, digital vehicle key for mobile phones, and a semi-automatic lane change assistant are available as options.

A Modern Off-Roader for the Future

On off-road terrain, the new Compass holds its own with a high-positioned front radar sensor, all-wheel-drive options, and superior approach and departure angles. A hill descent control system, "Selec-Terrain" mode, and strategically placed underbody protection ensure you're conquering whatever Mother Nature throws your way.

The "First Edition" of the Compass offers 20-inch wheels, matrix LED headlights, a 16-inch navigation system, Level 2 assistance systems, 360-degree parking sensors, and a sensor-controlled tailgate as standard features. Ventilated seats with massage function, a panoramic sunroof, and other optional extras are available for those seeking additional comfort and luxury.

Delivery of the first vehicles is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025, with the base price starting around €50,400. Expect prices to rise for the top-tier electric versions.

Embrace the future with the next-generation, electrified Compass. It's time to redefine the compact SUV and elevate your off-road experience to new heights.
