In a groundbreaking move, Trump Media and Crypto.com have announced a partnership to launch crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through Truth.Fi, set to debut later in 2025. This collaboration is set to connect Truth Social, a social media platform, with Crypto.com's 100 million registered users, potentially leading to cross-platform growth.

The partnership also marks another instance of traditional media companies embracing cryptocurrency, joining companies like MicroStrategy and Tesla in holding digital assets. Trump Media, as a result of this deal, becomes one of the largest CRO holders worldwide.

The update on Truth Social went live on September 9, 2025. The update included several new features, such as the ability for premium subscribers to edit posts, schedule content, and save drafts on servers. Additionally, the platform added group titles and better search functions for all users.

One of the most significant changes, however, is the integration with Crypto.com's wallet system. This feature allows users to convert their platform activity into real cryptocurrency. Users may also potentially pay for subscriptions using CRO tokens in the future.

Trump Media bought 684.4 million CRO tokens worth $105 million in August 2025, representing about 2% of all CRO tokens in circulation. This purchase has contributed to CRO's market capitalization, which grew to $8.71 billion, making it the 20th largest cryptocurrency.

Since the partnership began, CRO has performed well, gaining over 150% from its August lows. Following the announcement, CRO jumped over 4% and trading volume spiked as investors bought into the partnership.

Crypto.com's CEO, Kris Marszalek, stated that the partnership is part of building steady demand for CRO tokens through business deals. The ETFs will focus on 'Made in America' digital assets, a move that could further increase demand for CRO.

Several analysts expect CRO could reach $0.65 by the end of 2025. Long-term forecasts suggest CRO could trade between $1.50 and $2.17 by 2030 if adoption continues growing. However, it's important to note that the products need regulatory approval before launching to the public.

This partnership is not without its benefits for Trump Media. By using CRO instead of creating its own cryptocurrency, Trump Media solves problems related to regulatory risks and technical challenges that come with creating a new cryptocurrency. Additionally, Trump Media users may eventually be offered discounts for opening Crypto.com accounts.

In conclusion, the partnership between Trump Media and Crypto.com is set to bring significant changes to both companies. As the world of cryptocurrency continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how this partnership unfolds and impacts the future of digital assets.
