Introducing Mocha VEGAS: A Powerful Video Editing Tool for Content Creators
Mocha VEGAS is a specialized version of the popular Mocha planar tracking and masking tool, now integrated into the VEGAS Pro Suite for enhanced visual effects within the VEGAS editing environment.
Unlike the full version of Mocha Pro, Mocha VEGAS is designed for direct use inside VEGAS workflows. It provides basic to intermediate planar tracking and masking to enhance effects and compositing within VEGAS, making it an ideal tool for content creators.
The streamlined interface of Mocha VEGAS makes it easy to master planar tracking, even for creators without prior VFX experience. It features tracked spline tools to speed up shape creation, making the masking workflow more efficient.
Key features of Mocha VEGAS include planar tracking, roto & masking, adjust track, and a streamlined interface. The Adjust Track feature allows for quick correction of drifting tracks or tracks where an object is completely covered or going off-screen.
Mocha VEGAS is now bundled free inside the new VEGAS Pro Suite 21. To learn more about Mocha VEGAS, Elizabeth Postol, a Mocha product specialist, will be demonstrating the basics of Mocha VEGAS and a common VFX workflow (tracking, masking, and replacing a screen) to VEGAS Pro users during a live stream on Wednesday, August 30th, at 2 pm ET. Gary Rebholz, CPO of VEGAS Creative Software, will also be participating.
