VinFast and Castrol Team Up for Top-Notch EV After-Sales Support in India

VinFast and Castrol India have joined forces to ensure top-notch after-sales support for VinFast's electric vehicles (EVs) in India. The partnership aims to boost customer confidence and aid India's shift towards sustainable mobility.

VinFast Auto India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Castrol India Limited. This collaboration will provide VinFast EV owners with access to Castrol's extensive network of 750+ Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops across 300+ cities in India.

Castrol will ensure these workshops meet the necessary infrastructure and capability standards to service VinFast EVs. They will feature VinFast-branded service bays, certified EV technicians, and genuine VinFast parts. Both companies aim to raise service standards through advanced diagnostics, genuine parts, and digital-first support solutions.

VinFast plans to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025. To strengthen customer confidence, VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty coverage processes to Castrol workshops. This follows a similar agreement in 2021 between Mahindra Electric and Tata Power for after-sales support in India.

With this partnership, VinFast and Castrol are committed to supporting India's transition to sustainable mobility. By ensuring reliable and accessible after-sales care, they aim to enhance customer confidence in VinFast's EVs. VinFast's first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, further solidifies their commitment to the Indian market.
