Vortex Optics, a renowned manufacturer from Barneveld, Wisconsin, has introduced the Vortex Defender-CCW and Defender-ST Enclosed Solar Micro Red Cross. These new red dots combine durability, versatility, and reliable performance, making them ideal for both competition and duty use.

The Defender-CCW and Defender-ST feature a multi-reticle option with three reticle choices and 12 brightness settings, including 10 daylight and 2 night-vision settings. The red dots are housed in a robust 7075 aluminum body, ensuring durability and longevity. A large viewing window enables swift target acquisition, while an aspherical lens provides a distortion-free sight picture.

Both models are engineered for reliability, with dual power sources - solar and battery - and Auto D-TEC technology ensuring consistent performance. They boast a fully enclosed design for protection against harsh weather conditions, holster wear, and impacts. The Defender-CCW uses the Shield RMS footprint, while the Defender-ST uses the DeltaPoint® Pro footprint, making them easy to mount on various platforms.
