Website Redesign: Boosted Leanness and Efficiency in Year 8

Introducing The Labari Journal: Expanding Horizons in Tech, Media, and Business Across Africa

In the ever-evolving world of technology, media, and business, a one-person operated website based in Ghana has been making waves for the past eight years. This digital platform, known as Labari Insights, has been a leading voice for technology news in Ghana since its inception in the early 2010s.

The website, which started as a solo project, has grown significantly over the years, attracting a loyal subscriber base of over 750 individuals. It has also seen a surge in unique visitors, with a record high of 21,000 in January 2025.

Labari Insights offers a wide range of content, including news stories from tech, media, and business across Ghana and Africa. The platform leverages AI as a helper to streamline its operations, with an AI Writer assisting in summarising and publishing some of its stories.

In a bid to reach a broader audience, Labari Insights has set its sights on francophone countries like Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal. The website aims to capture more stories from these regions, providing a platform for diverse voices and perspectives.

As the pressure to remain relevant in the tech industry intensifies in 2025, Labari Insights is not resting on its laurels. It is launching a new media venture called The Labari Journal, set to go live on the 7th of April. The Journal will focus on Society, Culture, Media, Business, and More, providing in-depth analysis and investigative reporting.

Despite its success, Labari Insights' resources are limited, making it challenging to cover these areas extensively. However, the website continues to push boundaries, publishing "Deep Dive" editions that look at specific topics with a wider lens.

In addition to written publications, Labari Insights produces podcast shows and videos. As of now, it has 30 published episodes for its Labari Media podcast show, and its other podcast show has over 22 published episodes.

Recently, Labari Insights upgraded from Tech Nova GH to a more modern and cleaner design, reflecting its commitment to staying ahead of the curve in the digital age. The website also publishes a weekly round-up of news for subscribers who can't regularly visit the web platform.

As Labari Insights continues to evolve and expand, it remains a beacon of tech journalism in Ghana and West Africa, inspiring others to follow in its footsteps and contribute to the digital narrative of the continent.

In the realm of business and technology, The Labari Journal, an upcoming media venture by Labari Insights, aims to delve deeper into Society, Culture, Media, Business, and More, offering in-depth analysis and investigative reporting, starting on the 7th of April. To further broaden its scope, Labari Insights is reaching out to francophone countries like Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal, aiming to capture more stories and provide a platform for diverse voices and perspectives.
