Yutong Sweeps Busworld Europe with Seven Awards and Cutting-Edge EV Tech
Yutong, a leading Chinese bus manufacturer, made a significant impact at Busworld Europe, presenting cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) technologies and receiving seven prestigious awards. The company's leadership executive, whose name was not explicitly mentioned, showcased innovations such as the EV Long-Life Tech and the Link+ fleet management system.
Yutong's EV Long-Life Tech is a standout feature, designed to synchronise the lifespan of the vehicle and its battery for up to 15 years or 1.5 million kilometres. This technology was complemented by the IC12E, a 12-metre intercity coach with impressive energy efficiency of 0.67 kWh/km and a maximum range of 675 km, supporting fast charging at up to 1,400A.
Yutong's commitment to the transition to electric mobility was evident in its plans to continue investing in new energy technologies and lifecycle services. The company's European expansion includes a central parts depot in France, 16 forward warehouses, and 32 authorised service stations, ensuring comprehensive support for its customers.
The Link+ fleet management system and EnRoute+ service brand were presented as part of Yutong's lifecycle service solutions, offering connectivity, charging, and aftersales support. Four new battery-electric buses, designed for urban transport, intercity travel, and long-distance coach services, were also displayed at the event.
The U15, a 15-metre city bus, boasts a maximum range of 850 km under SORT2 conditions and is integrated with the Link+ system. Meanwhile, the T14E, a 14-metre electric coach, offers a maximum range of up to 850 km with battery options of 621 kWh or 704 kWh.
Yutong's excellence was recognised with seven awards, including the 'Grand Award Bus' for the Yutong U15 and the 'Grand Award Coach' for the Yutong T14E.
Yutong's participation at Busworld Europe was marked by technological advancements, comprehensive lifecycle services, and widespread recognition, reflecting the company's dedication to driving the shift towards electric mobility in the bus industry.
