Channel 4 is making history as the first UK broadcaster to offer video content on Spotify, marking a significant expansion of the streaming platform's video offerings. This move is part of Spotify's ongoing efforts to diversify its content.

In a similar vein, ITV Studios' Zoo 55 has partnered with Spotify, making ITV Studios content available on the streaming platform for the first time. This collaboration will see episodes and compilations of shows like "The Graham Norton Show" and "I Was a Teenage Felon" on Spotify.

"The Graham Norton Show," an internationally renowned late-night entertainment program produced by So Television (part of ITV Studios) for BBC One, is also part of this exciting new venture. However, it's worth noting that the show is actually broadcast by the BBC, not ITV.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 will be making programming available on Spotify from later this week, targeting audiences aged 13 to 24. The initial tranche of programming on Spotify includes content from Channel 4's digital-first platform, Channel 4.0.

Chris Whiteley, Managing Director of Northern Europe at Spotify, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, while Graham Haigh, COO of Zoo 55, expressed excitement about delivering ITV Studios' shows to Spotify's global audience.

Elsewhere, "I Was a Teenage Felon," produced by VICE Studios, presents real-life accounts of young individuals involved in high-stakes criminal activity. Another show joining the lineup is "Dead Set on Life," which follows Matty Matheson as he explores Canadian culture and cuisine, reconnecting with mentors and highlighting diverse communities across the country.

As for ITV, the company plans to concentrate on its UK advertiser-funded streaming service, ITVX, and growing its global Studios division. This strategic focus may explain why ITV's partnership with Spotify does not appear to be mentioned in this context.

In a separate development, the first music video for the digital single "Dynamit" by Kollegah was produced by the company StreetCinema. This venture underscores Spotify's commitment to providing a diverse range of content to its users.

Finally, The Graham Norton Show Channel will launch on the Roku Channel in the United States and Canada, further expanding the reach of this popular program.

This collaboration between ITV Studios, Channel 4, and Spotify promises to bring a wealth of exciting content to Spotify users, broadening the platform's appeal and reinforcing its position as a leading destination for entertainment.
